WWE star Roman Reigns announces leukemia battle on RAW
In the video below, you can see what Reigns had to say about the leukemia battle, how he just found out about it returning, and how he is stepping away from the ring in order to ensure that it is properly treated. Reigns is one of WWE’s most-notable stars, and was at the peak of his performance with the organization at the time of this announcement.
To see what the sentiment is among other people in the wrestling world, you don’t really have to look ll that far. This is a tight-knit community of people, regardless of persona, who care about each other. In a lot of ways, Chad Gable’s message speaks volumes:
Roman Reigns exemplifies everything I believe a true leader should be … Proud to have shared a locker room with him, and I’ll be proud to share it with him again after he wins this battle.
While not every WWE fan may love Reigns — as is the case with almost any wrestler — this is a very different sort of situation that someone playing a part in the ring. These fighters are tough, they’re physical, and they put their all into everything that they do. Reigns clearly did that for many years, and the fact that he’s done everything that he has while leukemia was in remission was nothing short pf phenomenal. We do hope that there are some more opportunities in order to see him through this battle and that he will keep everyone posted as more news comes out.
Of course, we’ll be continuing to think about Reigns throughout this battle — he may say he does not need our thoughts, but he absolutely has them anyway.
