Madam Secretary season 5 episode 4 preview: Henry, Stevie’s restaurant incident
Below, CarterMatt does have the Madam Secretary season 5 episode 5 synopsis with a little more news when it comes to what lies ahead:
“Requiem” – When the remains of U.S. soldiers who served in World War II are uncovered in Southeast Asia, Elizabeth’s hopes of bringing them home quickly fade when a stubborn leader stands in her way. Also, Henry and Stevie find themselves publicly targeted by a restaurant owner who is angry about Elizabeth’s policies, and Alison volunteers for a local congressional campaign, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, Oct. 28 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Beyond the restaurant story, it seems as though there will be some interesting story coming at just about every front — most notably, we’re going to see a story that is all about Elizabeth trying to honor veterans and make sure that they are properly treated. With Veterans’ Day coming around the corner, it makes a certain degree of sense to tell this sort of story. The same actually goes for Alison getting involved in politics; after all, we are gearing up for the midterm elections in real life, and with that in mind, it only makes some sense to focus on some element of it on the show. Madam Secretary has a tendency to be pretty non-partisan, so we have a feeling that this is also going to be the case here, as well.
