Outlander season 4 trailer: More Jamie / Claire romance; Brianna’s decision
This new trailer was unleashed on Saturday in honor of Claire Fraser’s 100th birthday, and in this video, you can see some more images from Jamie and Claire’s epic love story as it continues in America. Claire is arriving in the country with a great deal of foresight. She knows what is going to be coming here down the line, where millions of people will come in hopes of making a better life. She also knows that in eight years, there will be an epic Revolutionary War here where many lives are lost. That’s something that she has to be prepared for, but along the way, she also wants to keep things simple and build a home with Jamie and a legitimate future for the two of them.
This is a romantic trailer in many ways, but there is also some serious drama as Claire contends with the role of slavery in society and Jamie founds himself compared to the Native Americans, who are referred to in an offensive way via the British.

As for what else we see beyond this in the trailer, let’s just say that it gives you one of the most compelling teases for the big Brianna – Roger story that we’ve had so far. We don’t know how you get more compelling than seeing Bree declare that she is getting set to head back in time in order to see her parents — and that she’s doing so after learning that Jamie and Claire are both dead in the past. She has the power to turn things around, and that seems to be the impetus for her making this particular journey.
