NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 4 sneak peek: Is Hetty missing?
In the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s new episode, we have a sense that there is a special prosecutor on board in order to examine recent events at the Los Angeles office — most notably, the mission to Mexico at the end of this past season. This means that Hetty and Mosley both could be in trouble, but as Kilbride asks the team about Hetty’s whereabouts, they aren’t too keen on handing down any information.

(Basically, the big takeaway from this is that Linda Hunt isn’t leaving the show — the series is doing something similar to the character that they did last year, and we imagine that she will be back soon enough.)
Anyhow, this video is an important one for setting up the stakes in “Hit List,” which could eventually prove dangerous as many of the participants in the Mexico mission could find themselves targeted by the cartel. While sometimes we see crime shows take on cases with zero ramifications after the fact, this is clearly a time where the actions of the past do matter in the present. Everyone has a reason to look over their shoulder.
From a comedy standpoint, this sneak peek also works thanks to Deeks highlighting to Kilbride the merits of their local coffee. As it turns out, the former Admiral is not all that much of a fan — he really doesn’t seem to like anything hipster / artisanal that is coming from California. (For the record, we’d enjoy Deeks’ cinnamon coffee any day of the week.)
