At the center of this particular installment is Jerry, and we’re going to dive into and explore some of his past. It relates to something that should work well within the Hawaii Five-0 world, but also be a little bit spooky in its own right. For more on that and more, check out the full Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 5 synopsis below:
“A’ohe mea ‘imi a ka maka” – On Halloween, Jerry and his friends search his childhood camp for evidence to a murder he witnessed as a boy, while McGarrett investigates a little girl who drew pictures depicting the scene of a recent murder before it was discovered, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“A’ohe mea ‘imi a ka maka” is Hawaiian for “Nothing More the Eyes to Search for”)
While tonight had a pretty serious story when it comes to Jerry, all signs point towards next week being a little more comedic and showing Jorge Garcia in a little bit more of a comedic context. The Steve story actually appears to be just as creepy as what Jerry is going through, mostly because there’s something about children who draw super-creepy things that make your hair stand on end. Let’s just how that this is a story that ends up delivering, and ends up becoming a holiday episode that we can watch for many more Halloweens moving forward.
