The Big Bang Theory season 12 episode 6: Howard becomes Sheldon for Halloween

Next week, The Big Bang Theory season 12 episode 6 is going to bring you the very last Halloween episode of its run. (Yes, it’s now official that we have to check off all of these milestones.) This show has had some memorable ones, of course starting back when there were so many characters all collectively dressed as The Flash. (Mind you, this was long before the show came on The CW.)

Moving into next week’s new episode, we could see the writers really go out with something big, as Howard will decide that the best thing that he can do on this particular day is to spend his Halloween dressed up as Sheldon! As you can imagine, this is not Sheldon’s favorite idea ever and he will spend part of the day trying to figure out how to get retaliation. This is the groundwork for something really funny, mostly because the idea of a Sheldon revenge plot is to do something that is ridiculously funny in his head and doesn’t really work when he actually tries to execute it.

“The Imitation Perturbation” – When Wolowitz dresses up as Sheldon for Halloween, Sheldon seeks retaliation at Leonard and Penny’s Halloween party. Also, Leonard is shocked that Penny doesn’t remember their first kiss, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Oct. 25 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Leonard / Penny story doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Given that we are near the end of the series, this is a chance to get reflective on some of the relationships and Penny is the sort of character who would forget something like this. It doesn’t make her a bad person; her brain just operates and prioritizes in different ways than Leonard’s. That has been at the forefront of the series from the beginning.
