Chicago Med season 4 episode 5 preview: Why is Will lying to Natalie?
The title for this particular hour is “What You Don’t Know,” and that may be a reference as well to what’s going on with Will and Natalie. Given how mature their relationship should be at the moment, it doesn’t feel like there are many situations in which he wouldn’t tell her the truth. One of the only ones that we can really think about is that he could have a patient who is forcing him to keep something a secret — and that something could matter to her. Will’s not a person who wants to hurt her, so it’s hard to think about too many scenarios in which he would. The only other one is that he doesn’t choose to tell her about working with the police.

10/24/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : When things become complicated, Will is forced to lie to Natalie. Ethan and April find out some compromising information about Emily’s boyfriend and Ava is unsure of what to do with a patient who is refusing treatment. TV-14 L
The longer that this season goes along, the more we’re going to see character relationships explored — really, it makes a whole lot of sense to give you a little bit of Manstead conflict now. Basically, that means that the two will (hopefully) get married a little bit later this season without anywhere near as much drama.
As for some of the other stories, could we get a big Ava story here that is independent of Dr. Rhodes? One of the things that keeps her from being developed as much as we would like at times is that so many of her cases are all tied to Connor on some level.
