Do you want to know what’s next on Supergirl season 4 episode 2? The next installment is known as “Fallout” and based on early details, this is going to be a very important episode when it comes to the search for Mercy Graves. Over the course of the premiere, this character was established as a significant threat to Supergirl; yet, we’ve come to know that nobody seems to be altogether stellar at keeping the Girl of Steel down. It’s really just a matter of time before she figures out a way to fight back.

Below, the Supergirl season 4 episode 2 synopsis offers up a little bit of other insight when it comes to what lies ahead:

CHAOS IN NATIONAL CITY – A shocking revelation causes chaos in National City. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) sets out to capture Mercy Graves (guest star Rhona Mitra), while Alex (Chyler Leigh) takes control at the DEO. Back at CatCo, Kara decides to write an investigative story on Mercy and asks Lena (Katie McGrath) if she can interview her as Mercy has ties to the Luthors. Meanwhile, Brainy (Jesse Rath) meets Nia (Nicole Maines) and the two end up in a precarious situation. Harry Jierjian directed the episode with story by Dana Horgan and teleplay by Maria Maggenti & Daniel Beaty (#402). Original airdate 10/21/2018

This is an episode that could be about establishing relationships and also figuring out ways to flesh out some new characters. Take, for example, Jesse Rath’s Brainy, as we are still spending a good bit of time getting to know him after he was just a recurring player on the last season of the series. Meanwhile, Nia Nal is new in general and she has a pretty long journey ahead for her. There should be some fun moments in it, but we also certainly anticipate some hard times, as well.
