Supernatural season 14 episode 3 spoilers: Kim Rhodes returns

Supernatural season 14 episode 3 is going to do a kind thing following Wayward Sisters never getting a chance to air. After all, they are bringing back Kim Rhodes and her character of Sheriff Jody Mills! We would’ve loved to see her on her own, separate series, but we’re at least glad that the producers are finding a way to include her in this world. It’s at least a nice nod to her still being a part of this universe.

KIM RHODES RETURNS AS SHERIFF JODY MILLS – Still trying to solve the mystery of what happened to Dean (Jensen Ackles), Sam (Jared Padalecki) enlists the help of Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) who may unknowingly already be on the case. Castiel (Misha Collins) continues to be a father figure to Jack (Alexander Calvert), who surprises even himself, when a life is on the line. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Robert Berens. (#1403). Original Airdate 10/25/2018

The biggest thing that we are expecting to see in this episode is a chance for Sam to get at least a little bit closer to the Michael mystery at the heart of the season. This all but guarantees that Jensen will be playing this role through at least episode three, which means that the writers are treating this twist reasonably seriously. They are not trying to blow through it; with that, we do hope that there is some meaty stuff that is going to be coming up as a result of it.

Of course, we’re already excited about watching the Castiel – Jack dynamic. There’s something fun about seeing Cas take the character under his (angel) wing. He understands what he’s going through and he can excel in helping him out.
