Poldark season 4 episode 3 video (PBS): What’s next for Ross, Demelza, Morwenna

Poldark season 4 episode 3

When Poldark season 4 episode 3 arrives on PBS this Sunday, one of the things that you will see is Ross Poldark in a new world. After the death of Hugh Armitage the character now finds himself as a part of Parliament, which comes with a number of unique challenges.

For starters, Ross is not someone used to being in this environment. While he may have some experience as a leader in battle, it is very much different trying to lead with words and facing off with people who have many viewpoints different from your own. He will have to find a way to command attention and deal with a number of people who don’t want him there in the slightest — with George Warleggan being fairly high on that list, to the utter surprise of no one.

As for what else is happening with Ross personally, his time in London is going to put a strain on the relationship that he has with Demelza. The two may love each other, but this is a tough test for any marriage. He is many miles away, and in this particular period of history the distance would feel so much greater than it would today. Communication is challenging and Demelza is going to run into some problems with the mines.

When it comes to another key storyline in this episode, be prepared to see Morwenna do whatever she can in order to fight for her ability to be a mother — Whitworth is going to be desperate to take that role away from her. Basically, this is just yet another way to punish her for her rebellion against him and refusal to sleep with him. The man is a monster, so much so that he may continue to give in to Rowella’s advances in return for some favors.
