The Flash season 5: Tom Cavanagh directing 100th episode

Flash season 4

There is some more news coming out right now regarding the 100th episode of The Flashas we’ve just learned the director!

In a new post on Instagram, series star Tom Cavanagh confirmed that he is going to be the person responsible for helming this episode. This is a role that he has taken on in the past, but we have a feeling that it’s one he will continue to do however long the series continues.

At the moment, there isn’t a whole lot of information out there about the 100th episode, but we do hope that there is at least a little bit of time spent on celebrating the past 99 installments of the series. One of the larger issues that we did have with the 100th episode of Arrow, for example, is that it spent a good bit of time on the crossover components and didn’t give us a whole lot of time to actually enjoy what was going on with the series itself. We know that part of the crossover is filming now, so of course that leaves us a little bit worried that something similar could be happening here.

For those of you who do love Tom Cavanagh as an actor, let this be your reminder that you will see Harrison Wells on the series again … albeit in a different form. His role this time around is Sherloque Wells, a new iteration from a different Earth. You can go ahead and imagine a few things about him based solely on that name.
