Station 19 season 2 episode 3 preview: Ryan and a ride-along
Basically, think of this as Station 19 doing a crossover between two different shows … even if they are all on the same show in the end.

When Station 19 receives a call from concerned neighbors regarding a resident in their apartment building, the team heads out to investigate. When they arrive to evaluate the scene, they’re shocked by what they find inside. Meanwhile, in an effort to create a solid working relationship between the fire and police departments, Ryan takes an unlikely member of the team on a ride-along.
More than anything, one of the biggest things that we are anticipating in this episode is the continued development between Captain Sullivan and the rest of the team. At the moment, it feels fairly clear to say that everyone involved is butting heads. We just hope that along the way, there are some more opportunities to learn more about this guy, including what makes him tick and precisely why it is that he acts the way that he does.
One thing that is worth noting here programming-wise is simply this: There is no new episode of Grey’s Anatomy next week. Yet, there will be another installment of Station 19 on the air. Consider this a substitute for Grey’s Anatomy having two episodes back to back at the start of the season.
