Iggy (Tyler Labine) has a crisis of conscience after receiving the news that funding for a garden has been granted and an eager resident learns a secret about Dr. Bloom (Janet Montgomery). Of course, the one elephant in the room here is the one that has been there for almost the entirety of the series so far: Max’s cancer diagnosis. We know that he wants to avoid it and continue practicing medicine in the same way that he always has, but how long can we expect that to that? Sooner or later, everything is going to fall apart, and that does not just include the relationship that he has with his wife. His life is almost constantly on the verge of crumbling and he can only keep his current routine afloat for so long.
As for Dr. Bloom’s secret, is it possible that it is somewhat light amidst the darkness?
