Grey’s Anatomy season 15 spoilers: Answer on ‘where is Jackson?’ mystery coming
According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, there is going to be some sort of answer coming in terms of Jackson’s whereabouts before too long. That doesn’t mean the character will be featured on Thursday’s episode, but it does not appear as though this is a mystery that the series going to let linger forever.
Remember this first and foremost — there has been no word about Jesse Williams leaving the show. That’s something that we reported on last week, and that’s also something that we discussed in the video below. At the moment, what we know about Jackson Avery is that he is in the midst of a crisis of faith and then also a search for understanding. He’s someone who just underwent a couple of different life-altering situations. First and foremost, you have the departure of April from the hospital. While they may not be together anymore romantically, the two did welcome a kid together and beyond that, we don’t quite think that the feelings the two have for each other have ever completely gone away.
To go along with this, there’s also the near-death experience that Jackson had. He’s understanding of the fragility of life and he may be viewing the world in a different way. We like to imagine that no matter where he is, he is off on some sort of spiritual journey trying to understand the world around him better. That’s certainly not confirmed, but we do think that this character will be in his past place if he is in a place of learning. Doctors often feel they are unstoppable, so we very much celebrate them when they are in a position to really learn.
