Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 4 preview: Meredith’s blind date
For starters, let’s talk about the character in terms of her getting a blind date! We saw her matchmaker (while hospitalized) do what she could in order to ensure that she was ready to put herself out there. That included her buying some new dresses and trying to be more emotionally available after being so committed and distant to the idea of a deeper relationship. Everything will apparently come to a head moving into the next new episode where either she sinks or swims. Even if she does sink, though, we don’t consider that evidence that she will struggle in the future. The reality is that dating is often difficult, and sometimes it does take a number of romances going south before you end up finding the right person.

Meredith turns heads when she shows up to work done up and ready for her blind date later that day, while Alex makes a questionable decision in order to save a patient. Meanwhile, the burden of knowing Teddy’s secret keeps Maggie up at night, ultimately making her decide she has to tell someone.
Maggie may also be kept up all night due to the uncertain status of Jackson and it’s fairly easily to understand why. This is a person she loves and cares about that has basically gone off the grid in the blink of an eye without sharing a lot of information about it. He is effectively someone off on a journey and it’s not altogether certain, at least within the lens of this show, as to where it will end up leading.
For Teddy fans, at least celebrate that the character will have some sort of an on-screen role again.
