NCIS season 16 episode 3 sneak peek: Torres, McGee play Hangman

NCIS

For those of you who watch NCIS for some of the lighter moments, the new season 16 episode 3 sneak peek should be up your alley.

In this video, what we’ve come to learn is that Torres and McGee have taken up a new hobby for themselves when they are bored back at the office — Hangman. Apparently, they’ve also taken up the habit of playing it on the big screen at the same time. This is all completely silly, but simultaneously it is rather fun to see them go head to head like this. (Hey, it’s better than Torres getting arrested again, right?)

Midway through this sneak peek, McGee and Torres do get some news that is a little bit less than desirable — after all, the two have learned that they have now been banned from pinging suspects’ cell phone tracking because of a new Supreme Court ruling. With that in mind, McGee is going to have to completely reinvent the way he investigates. This is one of his biggest strengths! Seeing him figure out new ways to stop bad guys should be a treat, mostly, largely because this is the sort of thing that we feel the writers are going to pick back up at some point in the episode.

Of course, at the end of the episode Gibbs barges in, breaks up the news, and tells everyone to grab their gear. Basically, this is the same sort of thing that you’ve seen on this series a good million or so times already. Maybe to some it’s annoying, but for others it’s a cherished, beloved part of the series.
