God Friended Me episode 3 preview: When a taco truck is so much more

Want to get some other information regarding God Friended Me episode 3, which is airing on CBS in one week’s time? While a taco truck may seem like an interesting focus for an episode on the surface alone, it’s really just the jumping-off point for something so much greater. This is a story that is going to be twisting the search for the God account in some interesting ways. The title for this episode is “Heavenly Taco Truck,” and CarterMatt has the synopsis with some more information as to what is coming up next:

“Heavenly Taco Truck” – Miles’ wallet is stolen when he, Rakesh and Cara check out a food truck the God Account suggests that he “like.” But when the account then suggests that he befriend a private investigator, Miles decides to turn the tables and have the PI help him track down the thief, who Miles believes is linked to the account, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Oct. 14 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/8:00-9:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The fact that God Friended Me is already doing what it can to play around with its central formula just a few episodes into its run says a lot about what this show is. While it may be fairly similar to some other CBS series in terms of its format, at the same time it’s also trying to keep itself from being the same thing every week. If the writers can find a way to break up any potential repetition here, we could find ourselves with a very satisfying show at the end of it all.
