The Walking Dead season 9 episode 2 story for Andrew Lincoln, cast

Walking Dead season 8

Do you want to know what lies ahead on The Walking Dead season 9 episode 2 on AMC in one week’s time? Let’s just say that this particular story is going to be very much about continuing to rebuild the world … something that is fully ingrained in the overall story for this year. We’ve got communities trying to come together in hopes of building a better society, but as they’ve certainly come to realize over time, this is so much more difficult than they first thought. There will be some of the typical issues — think in terms of the walkers and the interpersonal conflicts — but there are also a few other surprises that nobody will see coming.

For some of the first details as to what you can expect to see coming up, be sure to check out The Walking Dead season 9 episode 2 synopsis below:

The communities join forces to restore a bridge that will facilitate communication and trade. Someone is gravely injured at the construction site.

As you move forward through the rest of the season, it’s going to be more or less impossible to ignore the elephant in the room: Andrew Lincoln is leaving a little bit later this season. Every episode is going to build closer to whatever Rick Grimes’ ending is. All signs point to his death, and we are very curious as to how that could come about. There is a part of us that wants to see him go down in some blaze of glory, but we actually would be equally interesting if his death was a little bit slower and natural. We do think that it’s nice to get reminders sometimes that, even in this world where so many crazy things do happen, sometimes people do still go via natural causes. There are still some elements of life and death that, in the end, are unavoidable.
