Last Man Standing season 7 episode 4 spoilers: The new Halloween episode!
Originally, episode 4 of the new season was going to be about a foreign exchange student helping to make life a little bit easier for Mike and Vanessa now that some of their kids have moved out. (You can read a little bit more on that over at the link here.) Yet, Fox has decided to change things around for reasons likely pertaining to baseball. Episode 4 will now be “Bride of Prankenstein,” and the reason why this Halloween episode is airing when it is goes back to whether or not there will be an episode on October 26. Fox is covering their bases (pun intended) so that in the event the comedy gets preempted on the 26th, this episode will still be out there before Halloween.

On Halloween night, Mike and Chuck work late to set up a security system at Outdoor Man and find the perfect target to prank when Joe (guest star Jay Leno) arrives at the store. Meanwhile Mandy, Kyle, Kristen and Ryan hold a séance in the all-new “Bride of Prankenstein” episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, Oct. 19 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (LMS-707) (TV-14 D, L, V)
You are getting to see a rather hefty amount of Jay Leno early on this season, which we speaks in part to the relationship he may have with Tim Allen and also Fox’s desire to get big-name guest stars on the series in the early going this season. It helps boost the ratings and attention around the show, not that it needs that all too much with Last Man Standing flexing its domination in the ratings at the moment.
