We don’t think we have to say much about The Flash season 5 episode 3 to make you nervous about it. After all, this is an episode that carries with it the title of “The Death of Vibe.” Cicada is going to be intent on causing him some problems — whether or not he actually achieves the goal in the title remains to be seen.
If Cisco does in fact die, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time it happened on this series. Just think back to season 1, when Eobard Thawne murdered him soon after revealing his true self to him. Barry was able to go back and ensure that this didn’t stick, but it does still stand out as one of the most memorable moments of the entire series to date.

Below, The Flash season 5 episode 3 synopsis offers up a little more information regarding just what you can expect to see:
CICADA TARGETS A MEMBER OF TEAM FLASH – After Cicada’s (Chris Klein) attack on The Flash (Grant Gustin), the team realizes they need to think outside the box to stop this dangerous new foe. Desperate to help her parents, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) comes up with a plan that ultimately puts a member of Team Flash in danger. Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) delves into her past. Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#503).
The quest to try and stop Cicada has a number of different components to it, ones that include figuring out first and foremost if there is a way to contain some of his powers. One of the most threatening things about this guy from the comic books alone is his immortality. How can you really stop someone who is, by virtue of their powers, unstoppable? The show’s interpretation of this character should prove itself to be very interesting.
