The Flash season 5 episode 2 spoilers: Chris Klein’s first appearance

Flash season 4

If you’ve been following The Flash as of late, there’s a chance you know already that Chris Klein is playing the Big Bad. Also, there’s a chance that you know that this character goes by the name of Cicada. He’s a powerful character who, in the comics, was immortal and almost impossible to stop. Whether he functions the same on the show remains to be seen, but he is the sort of character who can have an enormous impact on just about everyone around him. His presence may also have a thing to do with Nora, whose past mistakes have led to her being in Barry Allen’s present-day timeline.

Cicada is going to make his debut on The Flash season 5 episode 2 airing on The CW come October 16 — if you do want more news as to what is coming, we suggest that you check out the synopsis below:

CHRIS KLEIN JOINS “THE FLASH” – As Barry (Grant Gustin) helps his daughter, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), become a better speedster, he and Team Flash also track down a meta stealing high-tech weapons, only to cross paths with a new foe named Cicada (Chris Klein), who is hunting the very same meta with nefarious intent. Kim Miles directed the episode written by Eric Wallace & Judalina Neira (#502). Original airdate 10/16/2018

All in all, we like having Cicada just because he is one of those rare Big Bad sort of villains who is not a speedster and because of that, there are still all sorts of ways in which he can cause some trouble. We certainly are excited for what some of those could be.
