Chicago Med season 4 episode 3 video: A hostage crisis at the hospital
At the center of this particular Chicago Med crisis is a situation that will throw many characters’ future fates into jeopardy because of a hostage situation that unfolds at the hospital after a father, concerned over his son, gets violent when he believes that the doctors are not doing enough. This is a man sad and steeped in desperation and rage. Unfortunately, he is not one where he is really seeing the forest through the trees. It doesn’t benefit Ethan (who really seems to be at the center of all of this or anyone else on the staff to be lackadaisical in their treatment patterns for the boy. They are already doing everything that they can in order to help him and it really doesn’t seem as though this is only going to slow them down.

It’s ironic that we are just coming off of a crossover, and it really does seem as though this would be the perfect Chicago PD – Med crossover since the hospital’s own security may not be enough in order to calm this particular guy down. We foresee this being a crisis that takes a little bit of time in order to resolve, and it may benefit everyone to have someone present who is used to being in these sort of hyper-intense situations. Dr. Choi does have a military background, but is that really one and the same to what he is taking on here?
