Chicago Med season 4 episode 3 preview: A Brian Tee spotlight story

Chicago Med

Following part 2 of the crossover event Wednesday night, Chicago Med season 4 episode 3 will bring the series back to normal … or, however normal that this franchise is going to get. There are many other medical crises coming to the series, though maybe some of these could prove to be weightier in the aftermath of the crossover. For a character like Will Halstead in particular, how do you really recover from the sort of thing that he’s been through with his father? This is the sort of trauma that haunts and sticks with you. It doesn’t just vanish in the blink of an eye.

Beyond any particular story in episode 3, early signs do suggest that there will be a big spotlight for Brian Tee as Ethan Choi — something that we do always appreciate given that he is one of the most underrated actors in the One Chicago world.

For a few more details as to why this episode will be a big showcase for Tee, take a look at the Chicago Med season 4 episode 3 synopsis below:

When a sick boy is brought in, Ethan is faced with a tough decision that quickly escalates into a complicated and dangerous situation. Connor and Maggie are put to the test, while Natalie and Ethan aren’t sure what to make of Elsa, the new third year medical student.

Sometimes, it is admittedly difficult to project Chicago Med stories in advance. Yet, all signs do point towards this being a meaningful episode that does push the series forward, while also giving just enough time to reflect on what we’ve seen so far. We need that, and with that in mind, here is to hoping that the show manages to provide that.
