‘Shiptober 2018: Chicago Med (Will & Natalie) vs. Poldark (Ross & Demelza)
It’s a chance to celebrate some of the greatest ‘ships that the TV has to offer, and we’ve got a fun tournament this year to go along with it. Over the course of this month, we’ll be running some ‘Shiptober polls while also discussing what makes some of these couples so great and also sharing some teases / expectations for upcoming episodes! This is a chance to celebrate and discuss great ‘ships while gauging their popularity among readers at the same time. Only one ‘ship will be crowned the victor at the very end!
Voting Rules – Vote however often you like! Only one ‘ship will move on to the next round, and we are keeping these polls open until Friday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time. The following day, the second round will officially begin. (All of the information needed can be found in the bracket image above.)
In this article, we are focusing on a battle between two very-popular ‘ships that are from very different shows: Will & Natalie of Chicago Med facing off against Ross & Demelza of Poldark. Only one of them will move on…
Will & Natalie, Chicago Med (#4 seed) – This relationship, otherwise known as Manstead, is probably flying higher at the moment than it has in quite some time. At the start of this season, it was officially confirmed that the two are officially engaged! That is wonderful news, but at the same time there will be some setbacks that the two have to take on. For starters, both of them have different visions for what the wedding could look like; meanwhile, at the moment Will could be reeling from what happened with his father during the crossover. These two are strong, though, and that offers up some hope that they will be able to navigate their way through the tough times.
Ross & Demelza, Poldark (#5 seed) – Clearly, these two characters (otherwise known as Romelza) are in a very different place in their lives. Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson play a married couple and parents with the same sort of passion you’d expect from people newly in love. They’ve had their setbacks and separations by distance, but there is still a great love that they have for each other. This is a love that is going to be tested over the course of season 4 (currently airing on PBS), especially since Ross sometimes chooses to make executive decisions without thinking that it’s the better move to inform Demelza about some of his plans in advance.
Now, it’s your turn

How can I vote more than once? – If you are having trouble casting multiple votes, try switching your browser, your device, or visiting the page under private browsing or incognito mode. There should be many handy guides online explaining how to do so if interested.
