Outlander notes: A new Jamie / Claire video; more NYCC signing details
What better way to kick things off than the latest season 4 teaser, with the focus this time around being on the relationship between Jamie and Claire? We’ve got just about EVERY piece of evidence in the world that these two are soulmates, and this teaser mostly exists to reinforce that further. Alas, there isn’t all that much teasing that is done in this particular video, since you’ve seen much of this footage many times already.

If there is one thing that makes new teaser especially smart, it is giving a mission to many of its viewers to tag a person who is the metaphorical Jamie to their Claire. Basically, this encourages connectivity and to get more people talking about the show. This is a nice reminder of the series’ signature cover, but beyond just that, this is a good way to spark conversation among viewers … while maybe recruiting a few more along the way. (This is us tipping a cup to the Starz social-media team for their shrewdness.)
Autograph signing news
Leading up to the big panel featuring Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, and executive producers Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, there will also be an autograph signing at the Outlander booth at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time! Check out more info via the tweet below; there is no specific mention of cast availability, but it does seem as though the series is setting up a “version” of Fraser’s Ridge. This is certainly not the first time that Outlander has done something like this; remember, they have also created an iteration of the A. Malcolm print shop in the past.
