STAR season 3 episode 3 preview: A look at ‘A Family Affair’
On the surface, this is an episode that will be about Star making some key decisions, Simone learning some valuable information, and Noah trying to figure out how to exist within the world of his father. (Isn’t it nice to see Harold Perrineau on just about every show possible? We certainly think so.) This is an episode that also features a great guest cast overall, so expect some other notable names to turn out through. Heck, there could even be some music business philanthropy that exists here courtesy of Alex.

In an attempt to “go legit,” Cassie embarks on a new venture with a businessman (guest star Chad Michael Murray), that interferes with Carlotta’s work. Meanwhile, Noah struggles with making a contract decision under the watch of his father, Bobby (guest star Harold Perrineau), who is now back in his life. Then, still struggling with the death of a super-fan’s sister, Alex helps the fan start a music career. Also, a shocking discovery causes Star to take family a little more seriously, Simone finds out a secret about Mateo she can’t keep to herself and Andy is back in trouble in the all-new “A Family Affair” episode of STAR airing Wednesday, Oct. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The deeper that we navigate into STAR season 2, the more that family will most likely matter. This may be a series that revolves around music, but relationships are the tie that bind it all together. Without that tie, everything falls apart and the series cannot exist the same way. These characters would be smart to remember that.
