Chicago Fire season 7 episode 4: Stella’s past becomes the present
To be specific, we’re talking here mostly about how we are going to have a chance in this episode to learn a little bit more about Stella Kidd, who we’ve seen a good bit of on the show but haven’t learned all too much about when it comes to where she comes from and some of her past friendships. At the moment, it is clear that she’s not going anywhere in the near future — after all, she’s been a huge part of the show and this world for a while, let alone serving as a love interest for Kelly Severide. This episode could serve as a great chance in order to better understand why she is the person that she is, and that’s important.

Beyond just that, it does also feel like this particular Chicago Fire episode is going to serve as an opportunity to see the evolution of Herrmann. The season 7 episode 4 synopsis offers up some more insight regarding the series and what lies ahead:
10/17/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Firehouse 51 is on high alert when a series of explosions rock the city. Herrmann adjusts to his new duties and Kidd gets a visit from an old friend.
From a firefighting perspective, it is fairly clear that this is going to be a big episode. How else could you possibly describe one that offers up multiple explosions? This is exciting, but we do still think Stella’s past will be the right reason to tune in more so than any other.
