9-1-1 season 2 episode 4 preview: Hen protects her family + more

911 season 2

Are you ready for 9-1-1 season 2 episode 4, which is coming on Fox in one more week’s time? This is an episode that carries with it the title of “Awful People,” which is probably speaking a little bit more about some of the supporting / guest characters than any of our leads. Given the journey that we’ve been on so far, we’ve come to really like them! We don’t want to see them make any terrible decisions that could wreck their lives … but we also have to recognize that anything is possible and this is the sort of show where some of that can happen.

Above all else, one thing we can say with confidence is that this upcoming episode is going to be a huge one for Hen, and we’ll get a chance to see even more personal connections for her than we are used to.

Below, CarterMatt has the 9-1-1 season 2 episode 4 synopsis for some other information when it comes to what lies ahead:

Wanting to see the faces behind the 9-1-1 calls, Maddie goes on a ride-along with Athena, while dealing with a seemingly “perfect” dispatcher back at the call center. Meanwhile, Hen must figure out how to save her family from permanently falling apart, and the first responders deal with emergencies both at a military funeral and a movie theater in the all-new “Awful People” episode of 9-1-1 airing Monday, Oct. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (NIN-203) (TV-14 D, L, V)

One fun fact about this episode is that it was actually the third one to shoot, which means that these episodes were filmed out of order mostly to either accommodate schedules or locations. A TV show like 9-1-1 requires a great deal of planning, so we imagine the producers thought far ahead in their quest to make sure that the stars aligned perfectly here.
