The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere date: A July 2026 update

Is there a chance we are going to learn more about The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 between now and the end of July? Are we at least inching closer to some big reveals?

Well, just like you would expect in a piece like this, there are a number of different things to get into — but let us begin by just noting that filming for the final chapter of the Netflix legal drama has already wrapped up. (That took place a little over a week ago.) With this information in mind, everything can now shift to the next order of business, which is post-production and trying to ensure that these upcoming episodes are as perfect as possible. This is a process that takes some time, but not as long as some effects-laden spectacles like Wednesday, One Piece, or what we had for many years with Stranger Things.

What we are trying to say here is honestly not that complicated: The Lincoln Lawyer should be ready to arrive on Netflix at some point later this year. That does not mean that this is when it will air. Odds are, the streaming service will release the final chapter in the first half of 2027. There is no incentive for them to throw a show out there twice in a single calendar year, and they could also use this to fill some sort of hole in their schedule.

As for what you are going to see moving forward, the biggest note we can give is that it may be the most personal chapter of the series we have had a chance to see so far. How else can you explain the big reveal featuring Cobie Smulders at the end of last season, or her increased presence in season 5?
