MacGyver season 3 premiere sneak peek: Mac, Oversight’s discussion

MacGyver season 3 premiereThe MacGyver season 3 premiere is coming onto CBS on Friday night, but leading up to that, why not check out a new sneak peek for what’s coming in the episode?

The title for the premiere is “Improvise,” which does feel pretty darn appropriate given A) the nature of this show and B) how much Mac may be forced to act in the moment this time around. At the heart of this episode is a very important struggle, and one that is going to feature Jack Dalton at the center of it. This character, after all, ends up getting captured by some very bad people. Because of this, Mac’s father Oversight comes to him with a new mission. We’re not altogether sure that working with his dad again is something that really appeals to Mac all that much as a person, but what other choice here does he have if he wants to ensure that Jack is okay?

Over the course of this episode, get ready to see Lucas Till’s character do virtually everything that he can in order to ensure that Jack is safe. As for whether or not he finds himself working with the Phoenix Foundation at the end of all of this, that is a different question for a different day. The big problem with him going back there is just that the history between him and his father is just so deep at the moment that it’s really hard to imagine many scenarios where the two of them can move past their problems. That’s something that this sneak peek does make pretty clear.
