On how she has changed – “I came into that house a different person. I had my walls up and I was cold … I was just going to be the athlete that I am. Your walls come down in that house and people see the real you, regardless of whether or not [you want it].”

On feeling better about herself – “Not only was meeting Tyler was one of the best things that happened in the house, but I think I am a stronger person.”

Did she think Kaycee would evict her? – “I didn’t. I suspected in the early going that she and Tyler had a final two, but [times changed].”

On making it up with Rachel – “It all went away. The tension lifted off. I love Rachel, and I hate that [the] little hiccup caused her to go home far too early. Another thing was that I was so solid about loyalty, and when I heard that someone was going rogue [and I thought that was Rachel], I saw red. I felt terrible.”

Was she manipulating Tyler? – “That was the first guy that I have said I love you to first … We were from the same hometown in Hilton Head. That was my escape from the game and that just evolved and I fell head over heels in love with him. At times I thought it could be game, but my gut was telling me that it was real.”

On targeting Sam over JC – “Well, Sam had won an HoH and JC had won zero competitions. We were just basing it on who can compete.”

For those wondering, Angela thought the Ikea nickname that people online gave her was pretty funny.
