Big Brother 20 finale review: Was Tyler Crispen, Kaycee Clark the winner?

Big Brother

Tonight, the Big Brother 20 finale had some pretty high stakes … at least in terms of what would happen in a Kaycee / Tyler final two. These two played the best games, and we hoped that they would end up taking each other to the end.

Let’s breeze through the first Head of Household Competitions, since we knew that Tyler and Kaycee would be the two winners there. The jury segment with Dr. Will, meanwhile, was fantastic, but we’re also pretty sure we learned next to nothing about it. The jurors have to think through a lot of different scenarios and because of that, we didn’t actually learn a lot here.

The third part of the Final Head of Household was different, and we liked that because it actually see a little bit more based on real game knowledge and not a total crapshoot. Kaycee and Tyler were both really good at this … at least at first, but then they both started to get things wrong at the same time. It came down to the boards at the end but Kaycee won! She was the final HoH of the summer.

Who did Kaycee evict? – We had no reason to think that she was going to evict Tyler, and she did tell JC in advance that he was going to be leaving. That was her final decision — JC was gone, and he is in third place.

Jury Speeches – These were okay, but we don’t think Kaycee did a lot to help herself — but, we also don’t think that Tyler did a lot by telling Bayleigh that he needed her to be his enemy. Both of the final speeches were solid — Kaycee was the better socially, but Tyler also did a little bit more work strategically to ensure that he made it to the end.

The winner – Kaycee! While we don’t fully agree with the jury vote, she is a deserving winner and she did a good job with the social game throughout.
