Chicago Med season 4 episode 2 preview: The personal Halstead crossover story

Chicago Med

Are you ready for Chicago Med season 4 episode 2 to air on NBC? Let’s just say to be prepared for an emotional crossover for the Halstead brothers.

Let’s start things off here by noting that this episode is going to be airing at a special time in 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. That is just the natural spot for it within the surrounding crossover so that everything makes logical sense. There’s really no further reasoning for this beyond that. This episode will follow up the events of Chicago Fire, and during that episode it will be clear that there is a crisis that ends up impacting some characters in a rather enormous way.

For a few more teasers as to what’s ahead, be sure to check out the Chicago Med season 4 episode 2 synopsis below:

10/03/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : In the second part of the three-show, one-night crossover event, the doctors and nurses of Chicago Med find themselves on high alert when an overflow of patients are rushed into the doors following a terrifying apartment complex blaze. Dr. Rhodes fights to save the life of one of “Chicago Fire’s” own, while Dr. Halstead and his brother Jay struggle with their own personal battle. TV-14

This episode is the sort that will not leave a lot of time for some of the characters to process that they’ve been through, whether it be Dr. Charles dealing with the departure of his protegee Dr. Reese or Dr. Rhodes deciding to stay rather than taking the job at the Mayo Clinic. Everyone is going to be put through the wringer in this episode and you have to just go ahead and be prepared for that now.
