Lethal Weapon season 3 episode 2 preview: What’s next for Cole, Murtaugh?

Tonight, Lethal Weapon tried to reboot itself with a new co-lead in Seann William Scott and plenty of trouble for the team. Wesley Cole has a number of skills that could prove very much useful, but at the same time he is also someone with a number of different issues. For starters, this is a man who may struggle with getting along with his new team members, or actually being in one place after spending so much of his time in the CIA going from one mission to the next. He also has a difficult personal life that he is going to have to figure out, including the relationship with both his ex and his daughter.

Next week on season 3 episode 2, you are going to have an opportunity in order to learn more about Cole and his personal life, but only to a certain extent given that there is still a case that needs to be solved and some other important storylines, as well. In the end, there are so many different things that are going to be a part of this episode and we are certainly excited to see a number of them play out.

New partners Murtaugh and Cole attempt to find a steady rhythm as they work to solve the murder of a finance executive. Meanwhile, Cole navigates his role with his ex, Natalie (guest star Maggie Lawson), and his daughter, Maya (guest star Shay Rudolph), and Avery grapples with the outcome of his campaign for city council in the all-new “Need To Know” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Oct. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
