9-1-1 season 2 episode 3 preview: Athena takes Maddie on a ride-along

Maddie - 9-1-1

9-1-1 season 2 episode is going to be airing on Fox in one week’s time — the series is shifting back to a weekly format after the two-night premiere. Even though you are going to have to wait for more of the story, though, don’t expect things to get any less chaotic. We’re going to have a chance to see big stories ahead for many different characters, and for Maddie in particular, she’s going to have a chance to get out into the field and see a more human side to her job. She wants to actually see the faces who are making the 9-1-1 calls to better understand and emphasize. This does make a little bit of sense, given the fact that one of her main motivations for doing this job is escaping some of the pain of her own life.

For some more news about this, and also some of the other stories that are going to be within this episode, CarterMatt has the 9-1-1 season 2 episode 3 synopsis for you below:

Wanting to see the faces behind the 9-1-1 calls, Maddie goes on a ride-along with Athena, while dealing with a seemingly “perfect” dispatcher back at the call center. Meanwhile, Hen must figure out how to save her family from permanently falling apart, and the first responders deal with emergencies both at a military funeral and a movie theater in the all-new “Awful People” episode of 9-1-1 airing Monday, Oct. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (NIN-203) (TV-14 D, L, V)

There is clearly a lot of crazy stuff going down at this episode, but we think that the stories for Maddie and Hen are going to be the most emotional … and in turn the most memorable. Any chance we have in order to see Aisha Hinds in the spotlight, we’re going to be thrilled.
