While American Horror Story: Apocalypse definitely has its moments, we imagine there being one question many people out there have: Where in the world is the crossover? This is something that was really hyped up leading into the season, but there really hasn’t been that much of it yet. Given that a lot of the appeal of this season is getting to see the likes of Horror Story and Coven thrown into the same universe together, we feel like the demand for this is not going to be dissipating at any point in the near future.
Based on what we’re hearing in regards to the crossover, you’ll be getting a chance to see a little bit more of it at some point sooner rather than later.
Speaking in an interview with The Wrap, show executive producer Tim Minear had the following to say when it comes to getting to see more of the crossover in the future:
“I would say that it’s going to happen before you know it, and when it happens it will snap your head around your neck.”
Based on this alone, don’t you have to be at least marginally excited for what’s coming up next? The obvious danger with a show like American Horror Story is that you hype something up so much that when it actually happens, it doesn’t have anywhere near the impact that you hope that it would. This is what you have to worry about with the crossovers, but we feel like the viewers who are still on board and enjoying the season so far will still probably end up being pleased in the end. If they’ve been watching so far, why would they stop at this point before getting to the good stuff?
