Elementary season 7: Jonny Lee Miller will direct again
In a post on Instagram, Miller revealed that he will be helming at least one episode coming up in season 7, and it is one that could have some sort of prison component to it. What’s fairly interesting about this is that based on what happened during the season 6 finale, it’s pretty clear that we could have seen Sherlock Holmes end up in prison himself. After all, he was willing to take the fall for what happened to Michael rather than have Hannah Gregson go away for the crime. The fact that he was willing to sacrifice himself really does say a good bit about his character, but at the same time, it’s not like Sherlock went to the slammer himself. Instead, season 6 ended with the character heading back to London.

It’s actually rather funny going back and looking at some of Miller’s Instagram posts following the big reveal at the end of the finale — there’s actually one that gives away rather clearly that the series is doing more in England, but there was no real context in order to explain it at the time. (We also wonder if Lucy Liu is going to be sporting her new, blonde look for Watson on the series — given that the series is in a new location, it certainly makes sense for her to be sporting a different sense of style in the process.)
