Lethal Weapon season 3 video: How Wesley Cole meets Trish
The video below gives you a sense as what Wesley Cole (Seann William Scott) is going to have to contend with soon after arriving to the force. Basically, he is going to have to figure out a way in which to endear Trish to him. That is just as important as anything else when it comes to his new partner Roger; if he cannot get her on his side, there are going to be some more problems for him in the future. A successful partnership is one that requires plenty of trust and no tension, and at least for the time being, that is precisely what Cole needs given that otherwise, this experiment for him probably is not going to work.
Remember, though, that the promo is most likely from one of the early episodes of the season. There are going to be many opportunities after that in order to see if the relationship between Cole, Murtaugh, and Trish starts to go in either a positive or negative direction. We expect there to be at least some sort of positive rapport here, mostly because if there’s not, it’ll be hard to imagine him really sticking around for an extended period of time. At a certain point, something is probably going to have to give here.
For those of you who are looking for some more news when it comes to the actual story of the season, hopefully that is something that can be teased and set up a little bit more down the road.
