Chicago Fire, PD, and Med casts talk One Chicago Wednesdays

One Chicago

In just a matter of days Chicago Fire, Chicago Medand Chicago PD are all premiering on NBC, and to go along with that, they are all taking on one of the most ambitious experiments that we’ve seen. All three series are airing on the same night! What that means is that these three series are going to benefit from each other’s ratings, but of course there are also questions regarding whether or not it’s going to be too much in order to require viewers to be able to check out all of these shows on one night. Hopefully, it will find a way to naturally work out over time.

While the video below doesn’t necessarily give all that much away when it comes to the story of the shows this year, you do get a chance to see Jon Seda, Brian Tee, Joe Minoso, and many other cast members talk for a moment about the One Chicago experiment and the excitement that comes along with getting a chance to see all of these different shows interwoven with each other more than ever. Not every episode will be a crossover, but we do think that there are going to be some rather interesting things that we get a chance to explore thanks to this format.

What’s also exciting about this lineup is that in the event all three Chicago shows deliver in the ratings, we do think that there is a good chance that we could eventually see all three shows stick around in this spot moving forward. We’d love to see Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD all be Wednesday staples for some time in the future; fingers crossed this does end up being a trend.
