Lethal Weapon season 3 spoilers: Is Leo Getz coming back?
Per a report from SpoilerTV, the upcoming fourth episode of the season is entitled “Leo Getz Justice,” and it’s hard to imagine naming your episode that unless you have just found a way to bring Thomas Lennon back into the fold for a story. He’s recurred as the character on a handful of different occasions, and always been a source for some fun and adventure. It’s a great character familiar from the movie franchise and he brings with him a different energy and style than you get elsewhere.
Also, this title seems to suggest that we could be getting some sort of victory for Leo in this episode — though that may not be a reference to anything other than that the writers really just wanted to put a pun in one of their titles (something that we fully respect since we are pun enthusiasts over here).

Hopefully, there will be room for at least a couple of Getz appearances this season in the midst of what is a new landscape for Lethal Weapon as a whole. He’ll have to be introduced to Wesley Cole, for example, and see what the dynamic is like between the two of them. From there, we’ll also have to see if there are some worthy stories out there that suit this character and give him a chance to explore some new avenues. Most Getz episodes are fairly standalone in nature, given that you only see him sporadically. They have to find a way to fit them into the larger narrative, but so far they’ve done a great job.
