Poldark season 5: Another behind-the-scenes tease with Aidan Turner!

Poldark season 4

Poldark season 5 production continues to go strong in the UK, and today, we come bearing one of the happiest behind-the-scenes photos to date. (CarterMatt has it for you to check out below).

As a matter of fact, we feel like Aidan Turner may have a bigger smile on his face here than we saw Ross Poldark have through four seasons of the show to date! It’s a fun photo with Richard Hope (Pascoe) as work continues on making new episodes as good as they possibly can. Working on Poldark is a rather fun challenge given that these two actors, plus the camera operators and producers, have to figure out ways in which to make their surroundings appear as though they are in the past when in reality, they are not. We suppose that jumping into the time machine is one of the fun things about this role.

So what do we think lies ahead for Ross over the apparent final season of the show? A big part of Ross’ story is largely going to revolve around learning whether or not he can preserve some element of happiness in Cornwall, even when there are forces that often stand in the way of it – be aware that there are season 4 spoilers ahead.

For example, in the wake of what happened to Elizabeth Warleggan at the end of this past season, you do have to wonder if George is going to be even more unhinged and desperate for vengeance. If that is the case, that is almost certainly bad news for Ross and everyone else around him — George is greedy and wants little other than power and influence. Ross, meanwhile, has at least showed an interest in looking after others in need. It’s really the major fundamental difference between the two.
