Big Brother 20 and the current America’s Favorite Player debate

Big Brother 20

Who should win America’s Favorite Player / America’s Favorite Houseguest on Big Brother 20? It feels like time to dive into that with the live feeds down!

Over the next eight days or so, we’re sure that there will be a lot of campaigning for this — technically the polls aren’t even open yet, but we’ve already seen the campaigns and we really think that it’s down to just three people.

Haleigh – The big case for her seems to be that she’s the only person with the guts to nominate Tyler, even if she did so anonymously at first. There’s always a big move to give people AFP just because they went against the grain of the house and were an underdog — look at Donny or Cody as examples of that. Yet, we also know that there’s a push for her to get it because many fans feel like she was robbed of the endurance Head of Household Tyler won in a controversial fashion earlier this season.

Brett – We understand the movement towards him just because he tried to be entertaining and was a big character for the majority of the season. He was a bit of a villain, but he also knew he was a villain and tried to play it up. He was no Dr. Will, but we appreciate in part his effort … even though at times he came across as the bad guy in a 1980’s teen movie.

Tyler – This is the most obvious pick for AFP depending on how producers do it this year. It’s always somewhat nebulous as to whether or not the final two can win it, but if he doesn’t we think that  he is almost a lock to take it because of casual fans / show-only viewers who have seen his edit for most of the season.
