Last Man Standing season 7 video: Tim Allen, Nancy Travis on story ahead
In the video below, you can see a few new teases from Tim Allen and Nancy Travis all about what’s coming up next on the show. They both talk about the series coming back and what makes the show appealing to many people out there — it’s escapism, and it’s a chance for people from different backgrounds to come together in order to enjoy a show. There isn’t too much else like it out on the air these days, and that is what makes it a ratings curiosity entering the new season.
There are a couple of clips in this video that should be new for many of you out there, especially if you are a fan of Kaitlyn Dever’s character of Eve. A good bit of the premiere seems to revolve around her coming home from the Air Force Academy, and the writers seem to be drawing a parallel between her return and also the show’s return to the air. They also use her almost as a vessel to explore some of the things that are now new for the Baxter family, including Mandy’s new look — something that you see Eve comment on in the preview.
Basically, this gives you a sense that Last Man Standing is going to be going for big, broad comedy on the new season, and also stuff that is definitely meta and plays into a number of the headlines that are already out there on the show. This hardly surprises us, and we’re certainly eager to see what happens when the show returns — we know a lot about the premiere episode, but there are still some mysteries after that.
