The Good Doctor season 2 tease: Preview a Shaun – Jared scene
Below, (via Entertainment Weekly) you can take a look at a particularly-notable scene between Shaun and Jared, one that sets up a couple of different things. First and foremost, you have the fact that this scene is set on Jared’s last day. He is heading to a new job and with that, he has some other opportunities ahead for him. We are glad that The Good Doctor is giving us one last chance to spend a little bit of time with Jared, a character we did enjoy watching at least in terms of his journey.

Beyond the setting of the scene, we do think it has some other value here with the fact that it’s all about Dr. Glassman, and Shaun’s own inability to accept the fact that his friend’s life is on the line. Shaun was able to find a way to help save Dr. Glassman after his cancer diagnosis through a risky procedure. What he fails to realize is that saving him does not guarantee that (in the long-term) he is going to be okay. There are some other problems that could come his way and that is something that he is going to have to wrangle with in the weeks ahead. Jared wants him to be prepared for that; he doesn’t want to see him hurt, and that is all he is trying to do here.
We hope that after Jared’s departure, Shaun will find some other confidantes at the hospital who are able to help him, in some shape or form.
