Take Two finale: Three reasons to watch it live on ABC Thursday night

If you’ve been enjoying Take Two on ABC, there’s a reasonably good chance you’re aware that the finale is going to be here in just over 24 hours!

To go along with this, we hope you know that this is easily the most-important episode of the season not just in terms of the story, but also in terms of ensuring that we get a chance to see more of it down the line. With that in mind, we have three different reasons to watch the finale live — especially if you’ve got a Nielsen box — on Thursday night. Consider this your preparation guide for the finale.

1. The aftermath of the Sam – Eddie kiss – This is a moment we recognize that many viewers out there have been waiting to see. This is a chance to see how they will define their relationship after some of what they’ve been through already. They obviously care about each other, but in this sort of genre, there is no guarantee that anything will happen right away in terms of a full-blown romantic relationship.

2. There could be a cliffhanger – Recently, showrunners Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller told us that if you’ve seen the finales of some of their past work (see Castle), you’ve got a pretty good sense as to what’s coming. You can check out our full interview with them at the link above.

3. It needs the viewership – The best way to get the show closer to securing a season 2 is if you check it out live. While we’ve seen the fan following grow throughout the season, Take Two remains the little engine that could and it still needs another bump in the numbers. Unfortunately, it’s just been stuck with a lot of things this season that have not gone its way, including the fact that it is airing after a subpar lead-in and that it’s been forced to deal with football scheduling issues.
