Has a Daredevil season 3 premiere date been revealed?
Do we now know the Daredevil season 3 premiere date over at Netflix? It’s not 100% official, but there are some strong signs.
Specifically, we turn now to the Thai arm of the streaming giant, which posted on their official Twitter that the new season is coming on October 19. This is a launch time that makes some sense, given that it is more than a month away from the end of Iron Fist season 2 (it’s good to have some breathing room) and most Netflix series do tend to come out on Friday.
So what do we actually know about this season so far? We discussed the recent teaser showcasing Matt Murdock’s new lease on life … though we’re not sure this particular lease is a good thing. We are gearing up for what is probably going to be the darkest iteration of the entire series to date, something that is incredibly dark, twisted, and also could feature Matt operating with an entirely different philosophy than what we’ve seen from him to date. This is the sort of season that has ultimately been designed to turn a few heads and to create some dramatic reactions. We just hope that it proves to be worth it, and that season 3 can help to really capture the magic that this series had back in the first season.
Even though this premiere date was revealed via an official account, we are waiting to confirm this 100% until we get some sort of official word from the American arm of Netflix. This is an American show, after all, and their word is the one that we tend to follow in terms of getting accurate, adequate release-date information out there.
If the series does come out next month, we certainly will give Netflix credit for their ambition in launching so many seasons of their Marvel series so close to one another.
