The Big Bang Theory season 12: 3 things we want before series finale

1. Allow us to meet Howard’s father – We’ve had a chance to get to know so many other characters’ relatives over the course of the series’ run, but Howard’s absent dad remains still a mystery. We know that this character is pretty awful given that he abandoned his family, and maybe the show won’t touch on that because it’s so dark. Yet, we do think that this is an opportunity for Simon Helberg to have another fantastic performance on the show — he’s had a few of these over the course of The Big Bang Theory so far, so why not throw another onto the pile? This, at least creatively, feels like the move that makes the most sense.
2. Give us some career updates – In particular when it comes to Leonard and Sheldon, we absolutely do want to see them have some sort of major career victory! We’ve been watching them fight tooth and nail for some advancement in their field from the beginning and this would be a great chance to further that along. Sheldon deserves a win, mostly because it doesn’t feel like it’s been gifted to him at this point. He’s really worked for it.
3. Establish some sort of relationship closure with Raj – We don’t think that Raj needs a relationship to be happy at the end of the series, but he absolutely needs to find some sort of happiness — even if that just means finding some sort of happiness within himself.
