America’s Got Talent rankings: Courtney Hadwin, Noah Guthrie, We Three, & more!

America's Got Talent

Are you ready for this week’s CarterMatt America’s Got Talent rankings? Then you’re in the right spot! This is an interesting show coming up on NBC Tuesday night, largely because it’s a rather uneven lineup. There are a TON of singers in this group — while variety acts really carried the day on this past show, it’s going to be harder for the same thing to happen now. We think the first show was stronger overall, but there are chances for a few upsets here.

Remember, our rankings are based mostly on performance quality and past voting history — both on this season and the ones before, since Americans’ voting patterns for this show rarely change.

11. Da Republik – A very solid, very accomplished dance crew, but without some sort of gimmick, it’s hard to see them advancing. Even Junior New System couldn’t get through!

10. Glennis Grace – Of all of the singers in the field this week, our major concern is that she is the one most likely to be forgotten about. She and Christina Wells also occupy a similar space.

9. We Three – If Us the Duo couldn’t make it through, these three may have some problems of their own unless they have a killer song choice at this point.

8. Aaron Crow – We’d love to rank him higher, but we know that America has their fears of freaky stuff and he barely made it through last time.

7. Christina Wells – We’re admittedly not Christina’s biggest fan and that may be impacting our opinion on some level, but we just worry that the glut of singers will hurt her.

6. Daniel Emmet – Opera has been popular on America’s Got Talent in the past, but the truth is that not everyone likes it. There’s a ceiling as to how far he can go.

5. Brian King Joseph – We think that he’s helped by being a non-singing act on a night full of them, and we also just think he’s a tremendous talent that, with the right arrangement, can easily make it to the finale.

4. Noah Guthrie – He has a great voice, a lot of originality, and an established audience out there already. While his last performance wasn’t his best, we think that this is almost incentive for him to come out and rock it more.

3. Angel City Chorale – One of the best choirs on America’s Got Talent ever in terms of creativity and quality. We don’t necessarily think they can win, but they deserve to be in the finale.

2. Vicki Barbolak – There’s probably going to be a debate for the rest of the season about Vicki vs. Samuel, but both have had some moments of fantastic comedy this season. With this particular lineup, it’s hard for us to imagine Vicki being halted before the finale unless her routine totally falls flat.

1. Courtney Hadwin – While we do think she’s a little bit polarizing just because her singing style is so distinct, it’s still hard to rank her anywhere but at the top … at least for this show. Shin Lim may actually be our favorite to win the whole thing right now, but she has a good chance to match him.
