Greenleaf season 3 episode 4 preview: Inside ‘The Underdog’

Greenleaf

Want to know what lies ahead on Greenleaf season 3 episode 4? This episode is entitled “The Underdog,” and of course this alone is exciting.

While there are many things that we could say about this series in advance, one of the things that we know about this series is that it’s often about finding a way to give you relatable stories featuring some of your favorite characters, but then also offer up some twists along the way that you don’t see coming. This is a show that often does have to find the mixture of great drama and character-building, given that this is one of the things that keeps viewers invested in the long-term.

Below, the Greenleaf season 3 episode 4 synopsis offers up a little more information as to what’s ahead:

Lady Mae visits world famous Pastor Maxine Patterson and endures the Bishop’s final attempt to win her back at a Round Table party. Connie asks if Grace is interested in running Calvary.

for those wondering as to the state of the season 3 ratings right now, the second episode last week generated a 0.3 in the 18-49 demographic and, to go along with that, 1.39 million viewers. While these are drops from the premiere, that’s to be expected given that the vast majority of series out there have a tendency to decline a little bit week to week.

If you’re already rooting for a season 4 to happen, the good news we can offer on that now is that, at least to date, the ratings are actually up year-to-year in total viewers! If Greenleaf can find a way to continue this trend, they are going to make it a little harder on OWN to cancel them. It’s far too early for any decisions to be made, but for the time being, we are certainly still crossing our fingers and hoping for the best.
