Moving into The Sinner season 2 episode 7, one thing is going to feel clear: Julian is going to be missing. There may not be too much more information out there, but in this sort of case, there doesn’t really need to be. The information that matters now is that the person who is at the center of everything cannot be found. We don’t think that we have to say all that much in talking about how this is bad news when it is really bad news. There’s not really any other way to look at it.

Basically, The Sinner season 2 episode 7 synopsis isn’t giving you a whole lot of information in advance: “Heather and Ambrose search for Julian.” That’s in. There’s nothing else and there isn’t going to be a whole lot else before this episode airs.

Clearly, there are a few different things that are important to this episode, with understanding Julian’s mindset being at the top of the list. Beyond that, understanding the truth about Marin remains up there given that she is a significant part of this story. Her decisions inform almost everything in one way or another.

Given that The Sinner is billed almost-constantly as a limited series event, we don’t exactly think that this is going to change. The one thing that may is how each individual season comes to a close. We don’t exactly foresee the second season is going to end anywhere close to how the first season did. We feel like we’re building towards a different endgame, but one that could still have some huge ramifications for the remainder of Ambrose’s life.
